Zoraida saw an opportunity to be her own boss, and she took the steps to make her dream come true. Working at a laundromat, she saw a sign that read, "Business for Sale." She convinced her husband—despite knowing that it would mean taking on debt—to call the owner and negotiate a deal. She opened her first location in 2001 and has since opened 2 additional locations.
