Owners Annabelle and Peixin are two working professionals who turned a passion into purpose. When Annabelle discovered the art of mirror glaze cakes in 2018, the couple channeled their busy city lives into building something joyful: a handcrafted bakery dedicated to bringing a little sweetness and joy to the hardworking people of NYC.
Founded in 2018 in New York City, AnnTremet Cake is a boutique bakery that blends French pastry traditions with Asian-inspired flavors. Best known for its stunning mirror-glaze mousse cakes, the shop also offers buttercream and fresh cream cakes, petite sweets, and seasonal specialties—all crafted with natural, low-sugar ingredients. With locations in the West Village and Long Island City, AnnTremet serves as both a destination for everyday indulgence and a go-to for bespoke cakes that make celebrations unforgettable.
Referred by a friend, Annabelle and Pei came to Renaissance seeking working capital to establish a central kitchen to supply both of her stores. With hands-on guidance from a Renaissance business advisor, they were able to secure a $100,000 loan from Renaissance.
