In 2024, SBI introduced seed grants — capital investments that allow organization to launch and scale earned revenue strategies that build long-term sustainability. Renaissance Economic Development Corporation (REDC) was one of seven recipients receiving $75,000 to expand mission-driven, small-business lending and advising to small businesses outside New York City.
